Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a high-impact organization of ~35 engineers
Drive technical vision by defining the roadmap for core data stores and processing engines
Enable 170+ autonomous product teams to leverage datastores-as-a-service
Pioneer agentic infrastructure by leading the shift toward an “agentic” model
Ensure strong data governance by leading compliance, privacy, encryption, and proactive risk management
Foster technical excellence by coaching and mentoring teams on high-level software design
Collaborate cross-functionally to build strong relationships
Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing engineering culture

What you’ll need

Deep technical expertise in data storage and processing at scale
Proven leadership experience managing managers and scaling organizations of 30+ people
Strong track record of building trust, respect, and empathy while delivering clear, direct feedback
Strategic mindset balancing long-term reliability with product velocity
Experience shaping infrastructure platforms that support multiple teams at scale
Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
Commitment to fostering an inclusive team culture and growing diverse engineering teams
A strong interest or experience in integrating AI/ML into infrastructure
Familiarity with regulated environments and data governance requirements
Experience working with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes)

cash compensation includes base salary, on-target commission, and annual bonus targets
