About the role
- Lead HubSpot’s Data Hub product line and determine future vision for unstructured data, API strategy, data migration and setup.
- Work with teams across the organization to build compelling software leveraging HubSpot’s core technology platform.
- Have a deep focus on understanding customers and making their experience personalized and better.
- Represent HubSpot and the Product publicly at conferences, events, online, and with potential business partners.
- Collaborate with other product leaders on resourcing and building broader product vision.
- Lead product development team of 20+ through coaching, empowering, hiring, and retaining talent; create and foster diverse teams and an inclusive culture.
- Set objectives for teams that align product development with key goal metrics for the business.
- Craft product story and deliver to internal stakeholders; create alignment with other product Hubs, cross-functional partners, and Executive leadership.
- Identify new external partnership and acquisition opportunities based on competitive landscape and customer needs.
- Partner with engineering, designers, and broader UX to build useful, usable, delightful software that solves real customer pain.
Requirements
- Proven product management experience at a GM, Product VP/Director, or start-up equivalent level.
- An in-depth understanding of SaaS & usage-based economics.
- Experience and subject matter expertise in big data processing, data infrastructure & analytics.
- Tested ability in influencing and aligning business leaders and executive levels.
- Ability to establish clear priorities.
- Effective communication and influencing skills.
- An obsession with understanding and improving user experience.
- Depth in coaching and leading successful product teams.
- Ability to build trust, respect, and empathy.
- Proven ability to foster a sense of team and mission.
- Success in developing strong working relationships across the organization, from tech leads and individual contributors to peers and the executive team.
- Ability to get candidates excited to take on new challenges and be part of the product team.
- Someone who can add to the culture of the product team and cares about diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
