About the role

  • Lead and manage a team of 4-6 video editors
  • Define the editorial point of view for HubSpot’s Video Team
  • Set clear quality standards and creative frameworks
  • Partner with Video Creative Leads to plan and prioritize resources
  • Lead AI adoption within the editorial group
  • Provide detailed, actionable feedback on edits
  • Build a team culture rooted in creative ambition and growth
  • Stay ahead of how the editing craft is evolving because of AI

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of experience in video editing or post-production
  • At least 3 years directly managing editors or editorial teams
  • Strong editorial eye and can articulate what makes an edit work
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editorial workflows
  • Deep familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition
  • Strong organizational instincts
