About the role
- Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable foundations
- Act as a trusted technical leader within your org
- Partner deeply with engineering and security teams
- Translate organizational priorities into concrete security outcomes
- Contribute production code and conduct deep design and code reviews
- Identify and assess security risks across multiple domains
- Lead or play a key role in security incidents and CritSits
- Serve as a point of contact and subject-matter expert for security
- Help shape our approach to securing AI and emerging technologies
- Mentor and uplevel other engineers
Requirements
- 14+ years of experience in software development and information security
- Proven experience designing and implementing foundational security capabilities in a cloud-native environment
- Strong grasp of modern security principles and architectures
- Hands-on experience with application and product security, data security, cloud and infrastructure security, detection & response, identity and access management
- Experience driving large, cross-team initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop other engineers
- Excellent communication skills
