About the role

  • Deliver post-production for long and short-form stories
  • Edit YouTube-first, long-form videos from audio string-out to final cut on deadline
  • Design and animate clear data visualizations for business and tech topics
  • Collaborate with writers/hosts and stakeholders; give and receive feedback
  • Provide edit-focused notes on pacing, clarity, music, motion and visual alignment
  • Guide the team with specific, actionable feedback to improve creative output
  • Support visual planning calls, turning creative direction into motion/graphics plans
  • Maintain and elevate the channel graphics package for a consistent visual style

Requirements

  • 5+ years of editorial or documentary-style editing with motion design for digital video
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong editorial instincts: story structure, pacing, clarity, and accuracy
  • Expertise in color grading, audio cleanup, and export/deliverables for YouTube
  • Experience building and maintaining consistent design systems
  • Familiarity with modern creative pipelines, project workflows, and video archiving best practices
