About the role

  • Manage a portfolio of strategic partners to achieve business and product objectives.
  • Develop and execute partner strategies, business plans, and joint initiatives that align with HubSpot’s growth goals.
  • Build executive-level relationships internally and externally to drive trust, influence, and buy-in.
  • Define and monitor partner performance metrics, reporting regularly on outcomes and opportunities.
  • Direct ownership over complex cross-functional partner negotiations and contract management.
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to identify whitespace opportunities.
  • Anticipate risks and proactively address challenges to ensure long-term success.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Sales, Engineering) to drive partner initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Support seamless partner integrations and ensure operational excellence.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership to inform investment decisions.
  • Inspire teams through change, lead by example, set clear direction, continually share context, and secure buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging opportunities to strengthen HubSpot’s Strategic Partnerships.
  • Drive creative go-to-market (GTM) programs that influence positive growth of revenue, market share, and customer value.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing strategic partnerships in a technology or SaaS environment.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to simplify complex issues into clear action plans.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing executive audiences.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, fluid, and collaborative environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Data-driven with experience building executive summaries, performance reports and business cases.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, operate with autonomy, and deliver results.
  • 5+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or product roles.
  • Successful track record working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Demonstrable project management and analytical skills, including building and executing GTM plans.
  • Experience leading multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Direct experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
  • Willingness to move quickly to execute against tight timelines and projects, while maintaining an adaptable yet strong work ethic and approach.
