About the role
- Lead development, management, and evolution of unified Data Visualization Design System.
- Collaborate across product, engineering, analytics, design systems teams, and agencies to ensure visualizations are accurate, performant, engaging, and accessible.
- Select appropriate chart types, compose multi-dimensional dashboards, and apply animation/transitions to enhance storytelling and decision-making.
- Ensure visualizations meet or exceed global accessibility standards such as WCAG/ARIA.
- Work cross-functionally to define requirements, iterate on solutions, and provide expert guidance on visualization best practices.
- Design interactive and dynamic data visual experiences that transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for novice and advanced users.
- Regularly gather and incorporate feedback, user research, and data to drive continual improvement and product differentiation.
Requirements
- Proven Product Design Craft Expertise with portfolio showcasing craft, systems thinking, measurable impact, especially in complex scalable or platform environments.
- Include at least three recent case studies.
- Collaborative Leadership: history of influencing outcomes across disciplines.
- Systems and Scale Thinking: passion for connecting dots across products and platforms.
