About the role
- Lead the evolution of product experience for data and automation tooling across HubSpot platform, including Workflows.
- Drive end-to-end design process for new product experiences and partner with product and engineering on execution.
- Create interactive prototypes using Figma to communicate design concepts and test interactions.
- Conduct user research and validate design hypotheses.
- Collaborate across functional areas and levels for change management and successful rollout.
- Define product vision and strategy in partnership with PMs and engineers.
- Contribute to HubSpot’s design system ensuring consistency and scalability.
- Mentor junior designers and foster design excellence.
- Navigate ambiguity, define processes, and deliver incremental and long-term results.
Requirements
- Highly skilled and driven Staff Product Designer with expertise in data and automation tooling UX.
- Proactive, strategic thinker who builds engineering context quickly.
- Expertise in high-fidelity prototyping (Figma).
- Conduct user research, synthesize findings, and translate insights into design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product vision and strategy.
- Contribute to and evolve HubSpot’s design system.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers.
- Deep data analysis skills and ability to improve data collection systems.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and rapidly iterate.
