Responsibility for the stable and secure operation of our central backup and recovery environment
Ensure that business-critical data is always protected, available and reliably recoverable
Adapt and develop tailored backup and recovery concepts for applications and cloud services
Administer the backup environment, configure clients and identify vulnerabilities
Support analysis and resolution of technical incidents in close cooperation with vendors
Actively evolve the platform through automation, process optimization and integration of self-service solutions
Support planned service and maintenance activities and participate in the on-call rota

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification
At least three years' professional experience operating and developing enterprise backup environments
Solid knowledge of data backup for Windows and Red Hat systems
Ideally, experience with virtual environments, particularly VMware
