About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and ship native and or cross-platform mobile applications (iOS and Android), collaborating with UX designers and product managers to deliver clean, highly intuitive user interfaces
Develop and maintain front-end components using React.js and build scalable back-end RESTful APIs and microservices (Node.js, Express, etc.)
Polish the app, tighten performance under real-world usage, and squash bugs to ensure a seamless App Store and Google Play launch
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, software engineers, and product managers to support business needs and build robust systems
Perform code reviews, contribute to team documentation, mentor fellow guild members, and help maintain a high standard of engineering excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

3–5 years of experience in full stack development, with strong proficiency in React.js
Demonstrated experience building and shipping mobile applications (iOS and/or Android), using React Native, Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, or similar
Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end tooling
Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Express, or similar
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills
Willingness and ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance from the U.S. Government.
