About the role
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB
- Recording of general ledger transactions
- Oversight and support of selected German entities of various legal forms
- Point of contact for business units on accounting and commercial law matters
- Independent execution of balance sheet analyses
- Commercial-law contract review and accounting support for new business models
- Implementation of commercial law–related project topics
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance or qualification as a Certified Financial Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Relevant professional experience in financial accounting or auditing
- Solid knowledge of accounting under HGB and familiarity with tax law
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills
- Reliable and independent working style
- Strong communication skills, confident demeanor and high social competence
- SAP experience is an advantage
