About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure that financial reporting processes are designed and executed in accordance with GAAP
Support internal and external audits and internal SOX audit activity
Work with project managers to accurately record capital purchases
Execute fixed assets physical inventory in accordance with company policy
Assist in execution of annual physical inventories
Provide support for preparing and loading annual cost center budgets
Oversee monthly preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Review and approve purchase requests
Oversee intercompany balancing and research issues
Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
5+ years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in a global manufacturing company
Project Management experience desired
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience implementing and/or maintaining SOX controls in a publicly traded company environment
Understanding of US GAAP, transactional accounting within a manufacturing company model
Expert working knowledge of MS Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), OneStream or other financial consolidation package and SAP experience desired
Knowledge of Power BI is helpful
Proven ability to work well with others in a diverse organization
Highly organized with the ability to work well under tight time constraints
