About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Implement, configure, and continuously improve CAD integrations with PLM.
- Coordinate design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support of CAD/PLM integrations.
- Own day-to-day operational support for PLM platforms and services.
- Administer and support integration points between PLM and mechanical/electrical CAD tools.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, runbooks, knowledge base articles, user guides, SLAs, and KPIs for PLM and CAD integration services.
- Drive automation and standardization for deployments, environment management, and monitoring/alerting for PLM services and CAD integrations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT support operations, with at least 5 years supporting engineering CAD applications.
- Strong knowledge of engineering tools and processes, especially PLM/PDM administration and integrations with mechanical and electrical CAD (MCAD/ECAD).
- Experience with Windows / Linux server environments, Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python), and automation tools.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting PLM/CAD integrations and interfaces.
