About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products, including high-voltage bushings.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams
- Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings
- Develop and analyze Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models to support product design, validation, and optimization efforts
- Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through production support
- Execute assigned new product development projects for high-voltage bushings and related products.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to technicians during electrical testing and other assigned product validation tests
- Participate in quality assurance activities and prepare detailed electronic technical reports
- Collaborate with vendors on component design, material selection, and the evaluation of new materials
- Work directly with customers on specification reviews, product recommendations, and troubleshooting of testing or performance issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required
- 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and analysis software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar tools is preferred
- Fundamental understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory and underlying mathematics
- Hands-on experience with FEA software such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, Inventor, COMSOL, or similar tools is required.
