About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products, including high-voltage bushings.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams
  • Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings
  • Develop and analyze Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models to support product design, validation, and optimization efforts
  • Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through production support
  • Execute assigned new product development projects for high-voltage bushings and related products.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to technicians during electrical testing and other assigned product validation tests
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and prepare detailed electronic technical reports
  • Collaborate with vendors on component design, material selection, and the evaluation of new materials
  • Work directly with customers on specification reviews, product recommendations, and troubleshooting of testing or performance issues

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required
  • 1-2 years of relevant professional experience, required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
  • Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and analysis software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar tools is preferred
  • Fundamental understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory and underlying mathematics
  • Hands-on experience with FEA software such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, Inventor, COMSOL, or similar tools is required.
