About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the development of new products and the enhancement of existing products, including high-voltage bushings.
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams
Create and maintain detailed 3D models and engineering drawings
Develop and analyze Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models to support product design, validation, and optimization efforts
Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept development through production support
Execute assigned new product development projects for high-voltage bushings and related products.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to technicians during electrical testing and other assigned product validation tests
Participate in quality assurance activities and prepare detailed electronic technical reports
Collaborate with vendors on component design, material selection, and the evaluation of new materials
Work directly with customers on specification reviews, product recommendations, and troubleshooting of testing or performance issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, required
1-2 years of relevant professional experience, required
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and analysis software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar tools is preferred
Fundamental understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) theory and underlying mathematics
Hands-on experience with FEA software such as ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation, Inventor, COMSOL, or similar tools is required.
