About the role

  • Document existing products/designs, modify existing products, and design new products
  • Organize and detail part drawings, create assembly drawings and compile bills of material
  • Perform a variety of engineering work under supervision of Senior Engineers
  • Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes
  • Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and assembly instructions
  • Act as the bridge between manufacturing, R&D, quality, service, and sales
  • Provides technical guidance on production processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling software
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent time management, organization, communication, and prioritization capability
  • Ability to understand and practice standard safety procedures
  • Preferred 5+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to interact comfortably with all levels of internal and external customers
  • Ability to work at heights and lift 15 lbs
