About the role

  • Complete engineering design solutions
  • Provide technical support service
  • Handle complete projects related to new product development, product modification and enhancements
  • Coordinate the fabrication of prototypes
  • Work closely with in-house testing lab and third-party certification engineers
  • Conduct initial Engineering feasibility analysis
  • Develop layouts, rapid prototypes, and testing
  • Maintain records, documents, and drawings on project files

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
  • 2+ years’ experience in design, development, maintenance and testing of mechanical and/or electrical devices
  • Solid Modeling skills (i.e. Inventor or Solid works)
  • Finite Element Analysis skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the interpretation of design, performance, and standards relevant to the electrical industry in the form of product designs released to production in manufacturing settings
  • Effective project management skills
  • Ability to interact and work effectively to achieve common goals with other departments including supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing
