About the role
- Complete engineering design solutions
- Provide technical support service
- Handle complete projects related to new product development, product modification and enhancements
- Coordinate the fabrication of prototypes
- Work closely with in-house testing lab and third-party certification engineers
- Conduct initial Engineering feasibility analysis
- Develop layouts, rapid prototypes, and testing
- Maintain records, documents, and drawings on project files
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- 2+ years’ experience in design, development, maintenance and testing of mechanical and/or electrical devices
- Solid Modeling skills (i.e. Inventor or Solid works)
- Finite Element Analysis skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in the interpretation of design, performance, and standards relevant to the electrical industry in the form of product designs released to production in manufacturing settings
- Effective project management skills
- Ability to interact and work effectively to achieve common goals with other departments including supply chain, operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing
