About the role
- Perform microprocessor-based system start-ups at domestic and international customer locations.
- Assist senior technical personnel in proving system/station configurations on in-house systems.
- Provide technical support to customers, sales representatives, and Service Technicians as required.
- Provide emergency (24-hour) technical support to customers and Service Technicians.
- Assist in performing microprocessor-based system upgrades.
- Develop a working knowledge of all current microprocessor system feature software releases.
- Become proficient in system troubleshooting.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in electronics or equivalent work/military experience
- Ability to read color code charts and work in an industrial environment (can not be color blind)
- Ability to lift 35 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Completion of required skill elements
- Six (6) months previous experience as a Service Technician I
- Ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally
- Must be able to satisfy international visa requirements
- Ability to obtain BOSIET Certification & TWIC Credentials
