About the role
- Monthly closing and reporting process, using financial reporting systems
- Working with Bill of Materials and Product Routings through SAP system
- Assist in monthly variance analysis including, but not limited to, PPV, freight, material usage, production order, labor, and burden (overhead) variances
- Providing analysis and support to Internal and External Audits of the businesses
- Reviewing, analyzing and updating standard product costs as they relate to labor, material and overhead
- Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories and reconcile all differences
- Assisting with department spending analysis and facility budgets and forecasts
- Support for internal and external audit activities
- Complete ad hoc financial information requests
Requirements
- 1-3 years cost accounting experience using SAP in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong analytical, planning and communication skills
- Strong computer skills; proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Excel & Word
