About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services
Monitor and manage accounting and tax compliance requirements, including tax and statutory filings
Provide guidance to clients on accounting and tax best practices
Coordinate with internal teams and local service providers to ensure timely service delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with clients and local service providers/teams, understanding needs and providing customized solutions
Support development and implementation of new services and processes to improve the client experience
Maintain accurate client records and complete documentation using Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, Microsoft Teams, and related systems
Create service tickets, sense-check customer/provider data, monitor assigned tasks and tickets, and provide updates
Respond to ad hoc customer queries and involve appropriate teams for escalations or service add-ons
Build and maintain region- and/or service-line-specific knowledge bases
Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of experience with Accounting and Tax in a customer-facing service delivery capacity
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a plus
Experience with IFRS and US GAAP
Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or others
General understanding of bookkeeping, Accounts Payable and Receivable processes, management reporting, and consolidation services across multiple jurisdictions
Strong customer-facing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Project management and/or onboarding experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple business relationships, adapt to an evolving environment, meet deadlines, and contribute proactively
