About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounting and tax services.
Monitor and manage accounting and tax compliance requirements, including tax and statutory filings.
Provide guidance to clients on accounting and tax best practices.
Coordinate with internal teams and local service providers to ensure timely service delivery.
Develop and maintain client and local provider/team relationships and provide customized, proactive solutions.
Support development and implementation of new services and processes to improve client experience.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation using Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, Microsoft Teams, and related systems.
Create service tickets, validate customer/provider data, monitor assigned tasks, and provide updates.
Respond to ad hoc customer queries and involve appropriate teams for escalations or service add-ons.
Build and maintain region- or service-line-specific knowledge bases.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting and tax in a customer-facing service delivery capacity.
CPA is a plus, not required.
Experience with IFRS and US GAAP.
Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or others.
General understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, management reporting, consolidation services, and related processes across multiple jurisdictions.
Strong customer-facing skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Project management and/or onboarding experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to work collaboratively, manage multiple business relationships, meet deadlines, and adapt to an evolving environment.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive.
