About the role
- Develop database infrastructure to store data from electrical measurements collected at various cryogenic temperatures, inline fabrication metrology, and device designs
- Develop software to relate device yield to fabrication processes and designs
- Use databases to extract critical information and perform statistical data analysis
- Report and document test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, and trending
- Communicate frequently with team members through oral and written reporting and collaborate to mature the device yield analysis project
Requirements
- Experience with python programming and best practices, including object oriented programming principles, version control, data structures, unit testing
- Experience writing SQL queries for large datasets
- Statistical analysis and design of experiments
- Understanding of cleanroom fabrication equipment and processes
- Semiconductor device physics
- Reporting and documentation of test results with emphasis on statistical analysis, data visualization, trending
- Experience generating data dashboards (a plus)
- Python instrument control (desired)
- SQL table design (desired)
- Failure analysis, including materials characterization techniques (desired)
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree plus 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor yield engineering field
- US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance
