About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish the practice's budgets and objectives
  • Manage and forecast budgets
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the practice's methodologies and tools to increase the efficiency of solution deployments and pre-sales activities
  • Participate in the project escalation process
  • Manage the team's skills to foster a strategic advantage
  • Support the resource allocation process
  • Manage the practice's recruitment plan
  • Participate in the recruitment process for consultants (interviews, job offers, etc.)
  • Monitor technology trends to maintain a competitive advantage
  • Develop and collaborate with business partners on business development initiatives
  • Establish and maintain business relationships with the Workday sales and implementation teams in Canada and the United States
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and publish marketing content
  • Collaborate with the sales team on various activities, including solution demonstrations and responding to service requirements
  • Develop and maintain a service offering aligned with current market requirements and trends
  • Participate in client roadmaps and return-on-investment initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Business Administration
  • Experience as a practice director or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of our UKG solutions is an asset
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage financial resources effectively
