About the role

  • Collaborate closely with the developers to uplift code quality, propose architectural enhancements, and guide best practices;
  • Coordinate with Design when UI changes exceed development scope or require refinement;
  • Work with Algolia, Uniform CMS, Salesforce (CloudCraze), and SAP integration points, ensuring stable and well-designed data flows;
  • Develop and maintain integrations in the BFF layer, including caching, API orchestration, and resiliency patterns;
  • Work on legacy code sections, identifying refactor opportunities and balancing improvements with delivery timelines;
  • Handle bug fixing, platform enhancements, and feature development based on Figma designs and cross-department input;
  • Ensure all work is properly tested before submitting for review.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as a React developer, with deep understanding of modern React patterns and ecosystem;
  • Strong experience building production-grade applications with Next.js;
  • Solid understanding of data-fetching strategies and caching mechanisms in the latest versions of Next.js;
  • Experience working with BFF layers, API integration, and backend workflows;
  • Familiarity with Redis or other caching technologies, cache invalidation, and performance tuning;
  • Professional experience with CMS systems (Uniform CMS or equivalent);
  • Strong architectural thinking - component architecture, scalability, performance patterns, API design.
