About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and deputize for the Head of HR in operational and strategic HR matters
- Lead and develop the HR Business Partner and HR Specialist teams and ensure an efficient HR service organization
- Work closely with the works council and advise managers on labor law, personnel, and organizational matters
- Manage and implement strategic HR projects, for example in HR systems, compensation & benefits, and culture and engagement initiatives
- Develop HR processes, policies, and organizational structures while ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Support change and transformation processes and analyze HR metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in business administration or a related field, ideally with a focus on human resources
- 8–10 years of professional experience with solid HR expertise in labor law, co-determination/works council matters, employee relations, and HR processes
- Experience leading HR Business Partner teams and managing organizational development and change projects
- Strong communication, advisory and negotiation skills, with confident interaction with works councils and senior leadership
- Strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, operational mindset and strong execution capability
- Analytical and structured working style, with experience in HR metrics, HR systems, and HR projects
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an advantage
- Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
