About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Join HP’s high-impact, high-visibility HP Solutions Strategy team to shape the future of HP Solutions across hardware, software, services, and emerging growth areas.
Partner closely with senior HPS leaders to define long-term direction, medium-term strategic priorities, and near-term business choices that influence portfolio strategy, planning, investment priorities, and growth opportunities.
Translate market, customer, technology, and financial insights into clear strategic choices—especially across Advanced Compute Solutions, Edge AI, and integrated business planning.
Develop insight-driven recommendations grounded in rigorous analysis and compelling strategic narratives.
Support the Advanced Compute Solutions (ACS) strategy and integrated planning process annually.
Develop strategic analyses and insights related to Advanced Compute Solutions, including market trends, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities across the HPS portfolio.
Support Edge AI strategy, roadmap, and business planning by building actionable insights such as market sizing, competitive analysis, strategic trade-off assessments, and long-term opportunity framing.
Drive alignment of long-term strategy across divisions including Retail, Workforce Experience Platform, and Services.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or another related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically 8–10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, business strategy, management consulting, product strategy, or a related field.
Experience in top-tier consulting, corporate strategy, or a similarly rigorous strategy environment is highly desirable.
Experience developing strategic recommendations, long-range plans, business cases, and executive communications for senior leaders.
Experience working in technology, hardware, software, services, AI, or adjacent industries is strongly preferred.
MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
