About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set the insights agenda in partnership with business executives
  • Lead the development and execution of research and analytics projects.
  • Design and analyze research studies that align with business objectives and address key research questions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to identify research needs and develop insights-driven strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes, with a focus on how these factors impact business fundamentals.
  • Present research findings and recommendations to senior leadership, and provide guidance on how to apply insights to strategic decision-making.
  • Play a critical role in engaging senior executives in change management efforts, and lead efforts to drive change based on research findings and insights.
  • Manage external research vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality research deliverables.
  • Manage insights budget

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in market research, statistics, psychology, sociology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in market research, insights, or data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and story-telling skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data and insights to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to engage senior executives in change management efforts and lead efforts to drive change based on research findings and insights.
  • Strong understanding of business fundamentals and how market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes impact business success.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with technology markets and trends is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams.
  • Excellent negotiating skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with executive management and functional disciplines.
  • Excellent influencing, consensus-building and conflict-resolution skills.
