About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Services Offer Execution Category Manager within the N.A. Solutions Category team will report to the HP Solutions Senior Manager within the North America market.
- This is an individual contributor role with focus on Lifecycle (Support) Services with accountability to work across all customer segments plus channel.
- The individual will drive execution of programs and initiatives within the market working collaboratively with the GTM team, the inside services sales org, the generalist sales teams and channel.
- They will work with the market team to execute programs, enable sales and execute all operational and tactical activities.
- Collaborates with various internal teams from marketing, sales, and finance to ensure seamless execution of category plans.
- Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
- Develop, Manage and Execute Lifecycle Services Program, Incentives, and Offers.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically, 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication internally and externally.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills – both F2F and virtual.
- Ability to simplify a complex message to drive knowledge retention and application in a sales role.
- Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines.
- Exercises significant independent judgment to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
- May provide mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
