About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead high-stakes patent litigation and other litigation matters with significant legal, financial, and business impact.
Function as a litigation leader, driving strategy, outcomes, and budgets with independent judgment.
Own significant patent litigation matters, including technically complex, expert-driven cases, as well as complex commercial litigation matters.
Retain, manage, and closely partner with outside counsel, including staffing, strategy, fee arrangements, and performance accountability.
Manage budgets for matters in scope, including forecasting, accruals, reserves, and executive-level reporting on litigation spend and exposure.

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
7 + years of litigation experience, reflecting progressive responsibility for complex, high stakes matters.
Demonstrated trial experience, including trying cases to verdict.
Proven experience leading complex patent litigation matters, including technically complex, expert-driven cases.
Strong judgment and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
