About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the vision, architecture, modernization, and execution roadmap for HP’s Lead-to-Order platforms
Drive modernization of CPQ, CRM, B2B/B2C eCommerce, partner portal, subscriptions, payment and invoicing, and digital commerce platforms
Establish engineering priorities tied to business KPIs including quote cycle time, order accuracy, revenue enablement, availability, cost efficiency, security, and delivery predictability
Lead a large globally distributed engineering organization across geographies, time zones, cultures, and delivery models
Build and develop a leadership team of engineering managers, architects, technical leads, program leaders, and senior engineers
Strengthen succession plans, organizational design, accountability, and relationships with business and enterprise stakeholders
Operationalize AI-assisted and agentic SDLC accelerators, developer productivity tooling, engineering standards, and automation
Define and scale a standard SDLC framework including story point baselining, quality gates, DevSecOps, release discipline, observability, and continuous improvement
Own software delivery budgets, supplier performance, workforce mix, and cost optimization strategies
Lead vendor consolidation, sourcing strategy, master SOW governance, technical assessments, and delivery model optimization
Drive savings through supplier consolidation, AI-driven development acceleration, infrastructure optimization, contractor-to-FTE conversions, and cloud cost reduction
Ensure platforms meet enterprise standards for security, privacy, compliance, availability, and operational resiliency
Drive vulnerability remediation, DevSecOps maturity, cloud infrastructure stability, incident reduction, automation, testing, observability, and production excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deeply technical, business-oriented engineering executive profile
Experience leading large, globally distributed engineering organizations across multiple geographies, time zones, cultures, and delivery models
Experience with enterprise platform strategy, architecture, modernization, and execution
Knowledge of CPQ, CRM, B2B/B2C eCommerce, partner enablement, subscriptions, payment and invoicing, digital content, and commerce platforms
Experience building and leading engineering managers, architects, technical leads, program leaders, and senior engineers
Experience with AI-assisted and agentic software development lifecycle accelerators and developer productivity tooling
Knowledge of SDLC frameworks, DevSecOps, quality gates, release discipline, observability, and continuous improvement
Experience managing software delivery budgets, supplier performance, workforce mix, vendor consolidation, sourcing strategy, and SOW governance
Knowledge of security, privacy, compliance, availability, operational resiliency, vulnerability remediation, cloud infrastructure, testing, and production operations
Experience partnering with business stakeholders, finance, HR, enterprise architecture, security, operations, procurement, and suppliers
