Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and execute the communications strategy for HP’s Core Print businesses, serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and their teams.
Provide clear guidance, recommendations, and decision support for high-visibility business moments.
Shape and implement both proactive and reactive communications strategies that support business priorities and protect HP’s reputation, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective messaging.
Drive product innovation and portfolio storytelling across hardware, services, and supplies, including new product introductions, platform updates, and ecosystem narratives aligned with HP’s broader priorities such as security, AI-enabled workflows, and the Future of Work.
Oversee media engagement strategy, including press outreach, briefings, product reviews, and trade narratives.
Identify and manage emerging issues, advising on tone, posture, and timing.
Manage agency partners across planning, execution, and performance measurement.
Foster strong context-setting and disciplined decision-making within the Print Comms team.

Requirements

What you’ll need

8+ years of experience in product, corporate, or business communications, ideally within technology or complex B2B/B2C environments
Strong executive presence and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics without oversimplifying
Proven experience managing complex communications moments and advising senior leaders
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Experience leading teams and agency partners across global scopes
