About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support WW category strategy with insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of competitors’ portfolios, positioning, pricing, and go‑to‑market strategies
  • Analyze category and competitive performance to identify opportunities, risks, and implications for the HP portfolio
  • Support optimization of the Traditional Inkjet hardware portfolio, aligned to customer segments, price tiers, and regional market needs
  • Provide input on portfolio gaps, overlaps, and differentiation versus competitors
  • Contribute to WW 4P plans (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) for Consumer and Business Inkjet
  • Act as a key interface with the Supplies organization to support alignment on strategy, portfolio direction, and priorities
  • Contribute to integrated system messaging across printers, ink/supplies, and subscriptions
  • Support integration of subscription (e.g., Instant Ink) considerations into hardware portfolio and GTM discussions
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Supplies, Subscription, and Regional teams
  • Prepare analysis and materials for business reviews, planning cycles, and leadership discussions
  • Support tracking and reporting of category KPIs (revenue, margin, market share, units)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Product Management, Business Analysis, or Competitive Analysis
  • Experience working with global teams and multi‑market portfolios preferred
  • Exposure to supplies and/or subscription‑based business models is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Solid understanding of competitive portfolios and market dynamics
  • Ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
  • Effective cross‑functional collaboration and communication
  • Comfortable working in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Learning agility and attention to detail
