About the role
- Understand the packaging workflow and process to ensure final released artwork complies and is in aligned with HP brand.
- Lead artwork agency teams to execute NPI packaging while in adherence to packaging process and packaging requirements including regulatory, corporate brand, marketing, legal, counterfeit, translations, etc.
- Lead packaging artwork strategy and evolution by driving design, messaging hierarchy, and associated customer insights testing
- Manage WW artwork development and packaging production, from content creation and compilation, through review alignment, to final artwork hand-off to pre-press.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including WW Mktg, and Product BU to steer key packaging design decisions to optimize communication as a key customer touchpoint and move packaging and brand strategy forward.
- Consult and provide strategic guidance for regional implementation of packaging design and change requests.
- Be the packaging design expert, bringing industry insights, competitive landscape, and trends in support of the brand and to bolster the team’s expertise.
- Assemble packaging content from multiple business units and international teams to create and regionalize package messaging and designs.
- Assist in managing, development and maintenance of HP packaging brand standards.
- Manage detailed budgets for packaging artwork development.
- Maintain detailed records of projects in Workfront including status, daily project updates, documentation and delays.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Packaging, or equivalent; with 5+ years of related experience
- Advanced English Level (Mandatory)
- Extreme attention to detail and strong design eye
- Experience with the complexities of executing worldwide production
- Collaborative attitude and eagerness to work with extensive, cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of agency/client management
- Expertise in working in virtual environments
- Ability to manage and own multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of tact and diplomacy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
