About the role
- Reporting directly to the President, Personal Systems
- Shape and execute the current and future strategy for Personal Systems (PS) Category Business Management
- Own the category’s core performance metrics and define long-term strategic direction
- Ensure strong execution against near-term priorities in alignment with broader Category and Enterprise objectives
- Build strong, trusted partnerships across the Personal Systems organization and key HP functions
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
- MBA strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success leading and delivering results against a global P&L
- Proven ability to optimize operating models, frameworks, and processes to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Deep business acumen with broad technical, industry, and product domain expertise across engineering, technology, or product-driven organizations
- Strong track record navigating highly matrixed, global enterprises with complex stakeholder environments
- Exceptional problem-solving capability
- Strategic leadership demonstrated through market insight, sound business judgment, and a history of making high-impact decisions
- Strong organizational leadership skills
- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and C-suite audiences
