About the role
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of HP’s software solutions, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to effectively position offerings and articulate value to potential clients.
- Engage with clients to design and present customized solutions for their unique business needs, collaborating with product experts and engineers.
- Prepare tailored proposals and quotes, including pricing, terms, and contract details, to drive revenue growth and support successful deal closure.
- Focus on client retention by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.
- Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to gain insights into customer behavior, preferences, and sales patterns, supporting the development of effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product development, and customer support—to ensure seamless and positive customer experiences.
- Gather and relay feedback from clients to internal teams, helping to refine existing offerings and guide the development of new products or features.
- Work with external partners to enhance sales opportunities and deliver added value to clients.
- Stay informed about industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring all sales activities are compliant and up to date.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience
- 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in technical selling, ideally in software, cybersecurity, cloud, or SaaS
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage complex sales cycles and influence executive-level stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and a passion for technology
- Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Adaptability, initiative, and a growth mindset
- Proficiency in CRM and data-driven decision-making
- Fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)
