About the role

  • Drive the development of drivers using Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, NoSQL, and AWS technologies
  • Create high-level designs and architecture, collaborating with other architects as needed
  • Explore and adopt new AWS technologies to optimize application architecture and performance
  • Debug production incidents related to microservices, authentication, authorization, databases, UI (React), and other components
  • Collaborate with product teams to ideate, prototype, and develop new features and functionalities
  • Proactively take ownership of projects, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives
  • Work closely with different teams to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components, optimize UI performance, and deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Collaborate with remote teams in the US and India on feature development and delivery

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, microservices, SQL, NoSQL, and web frameworks
  • 2+ years of experience in cloud-native development, preferably with AWS or similar cloud platforms
  • UI-backend integration: Strong ability to integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and services, considering performance optimization
  • Performance optimization: Understanding of performance optimization techniques for web applications, including code optimization, and caching
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to drive project execution and deliver results within tight deadlines
  • Experience working in agile environments and using agile methodologies
  • Problem-solving: Proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges, think critically, and propose innovative solutions
