About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Create client submissions
Work on loss portfolio transfers
Contribute to capital modeling
Work across analytics, brokers, and other functions to identify and respond to client needs
Develop additional opportunities related to products and services
Collect and manipulate data in spreadsheets and database applications
Prepare client-ready presentations communicating analysis results to brokers and clients
Understand reinsurance contracts and products, including terminology, terms, and conditions
Proactively manage workflow and take initiative on internal projects to improve processes, products, or services
Own the quality, accuracy, and timely completion of analyses
Participate in Howden Re's “Team First” culture and support colleagues
Complete the online application, pre-recorded video interview, and assessment center process

Requirements

What you’ll need

Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Graduating GPA of 3.0 or higher
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Legally authorized to work in the US
Pay close attention to detail
Advanced degree, experience in the (re)insurance industry, and completion of actuarial exams or active exam study are nice to have but not expected
