About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Create client submissions
- Work on loss portfolio transfers
- Contribute to capital modeling
- Work across analytics, brokers, and other functions to identify and respond to client needs
- Develop additional opportunities related to products and services
- Collect and manipulate data in spreadsheets and database applications
- Prepare client-ready presentations communicating analysis results to brokers and clients
- Understand reinsurance contracts and products, including terminology, terms, and conditions
- Proactively manage workflow and take initiative on internal projects to improve processes, products, or services
- Own the quality, accuracy, and timely completion of analyses
- Participate in Howden Re's “Team First” culture and support colleagues
- Complete the online application, pre-recorded video interview, and assessment center process
Requirements
What you’ll need- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Graduating GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Legally authorized to work in the US
- Pay close attention to detail
- Advanced degree, experience in the (re)insurance industry, and completion of actuarial exams or active exam study are nice to have but not expected
