About the role
- Report to the Team Leader and head of existing business
- Focus on managing policy renewals, ensuring client retention and satisfaction
- Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand client base
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients
- Oversee renewal process: review terms, negotiate renewals, ensure timely completion
- Evaluate clients' risk profiles and advise on suitable insurance products and coverage
- Provide exceptional service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure New Business/Renewal targets are achieved
- Implement company compliance and office procedures including New Business Development and Renewal Procedures
- Monitor market practice and product availability and provide feedback to management
- Collaborate with other teams for training, product development and operational efficiencies
- Attend client visits with management as required
- Adhere to Compliance as outlined in Handbook and Procedures Manual
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in an insurance role
- Minimum APA Personal Lines or Grandfathered with proof of up-to-date CPD
- Excellent technical product knowledge of personal lines insurance market
- Proven track record managing a portfolio of clients, handling policy renewals and client inquiries
- Proficient in negotiating terms and conditions
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Adherence to Compliance and Procedures Manual
