About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Leverage your network to set up meetings for senior Howden RE brokers, with responsibility for business development efforts across North America
Set 8–12+ high-value meetings per week for senior RWI brokers and other senior Howden personnel covering the RE vertical
Develop, maintain, and report on a disciplined and organized regional outreach strategy across the North American RE sponsor, REIT, developer, and law firm landscape
Organize and attend periodic regional roadshows across U.S. and Canadian financial centers, including pre-meeting preparation, coordination with internal deal teams, and post-meeting follow-up communications
Represent Howden Private Capital at industry conferences

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree required
Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Willingness to travel up to 30–40% across North America for roadshows, client meetings, and industry events
Maintain a strong working knowledge of RWI market dynamics in real estate, including banking, real estate private equity, brokerage, or a closely related transactional role
Experience operating in a fast-paced, producer-driven BD model where meeting volume and pipeline discipline are tracked rigorously
