About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical specifications
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues
  • Work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution of defects and issues
  • Continuously improve and optimize the automation framework and testing processes
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in QA automation, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG
  • Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or similar
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of insurance industry standards and regulations
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as LoadView or LoadRunner
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
