About the role
- Lead and support hotel client onboarding, including setup of accounting systems and workflows
- Customize and streamline accounting processes specific to hotel operations
- Manage and review financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Work with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and revenue management platforms
- Ensure compliance with hospitality accounting standards and best practices
- Prepare and review hotel-specific reports (daily revenue, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, etc.)
- Identify process improvements and implement scalable accounting solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve efficiency and client experience
- Act as a subject-matter expert for hotel accounting and financial operation
Requirements
- Senior-level accounting experience (5+ years preferred)
- Direct hotel industry accounting experience is REQUIRED
- Strong understanding of hotel accounting, including revenue, payroll, and departmental reporting
- Experience onboarding hotel clients and setting up accounting systems
- Proficiency with hotel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, M3, Opera, Maestro, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
