About the role

  • Spend your time interacting with Ivy and Houzz Pro users by email, phone, and scheduled screenshare appointments
  • Train new and existing users on our QBO integration and how to use the two systems together effectively and efficiently
  • Create and optimize internal and external Quickbooks documentation, including automation processes
  • Provide functional accounting, troubleshooting, product feature explanation and assist with enhanced product features or changes
  • Teach and provide technical support to customers, accountants, other QB Integration Experts, and internal support teams, both US and International, as needed
  • Work with the product development team to troubleshoot and resolve syncing issues or bugs within the Houzz Pro/QBO integration
  • Collaborate with the development team to improve processes regarding the integration and provide feedback and suggestions on product improvement to ensure a better user experience
  • Create and record educational videos for Houzz Pro and Ivy users
  • Establish an onboarding and training protocol for Houzz Pro users to better streamline their integration. Monitor and make necessary adjustments to this protocol as product features change or new features are introduced
  • Manage technical support issues via Jira and work with Houzz Pro engineering team to monitor, troubleshoot, and solve tickets/issues.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of Quickbooks experience (preferably Quickbooks Online)
  • 2-3 years technical support experience with an emphasis on providing excellent service in a customer care role in banking, financial, or accounting role is highly desired
  • 2-3 years of Accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred with emphasis in accounting
  • Technical or computer background is a plus
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn company products, techniques and processes quickly in a training environment and have the ability to transfer learning to the work environment
  • Feel comfortable with technical concepts, have great analytical skills, and can explain how QBO integration works to a range of audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a high volume and fast paced environment and handle shifting priorities on a daily basis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, ability to determine from a complex set of variables how to resolve issues. Strong critical thinking skills and determination
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and effective listening skills, and inspire confidence while leading customers through the steps to resolve issues via phone and email
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized
  • Will empathize with users and quickly grasp the issues they’re facing
  • Loves to constantly learn about a changing technical product
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with Jira or Salesforce is a plus
