About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work hands-on to develop and implement property pricing strategies that optimise both occupancy and revenue.
- Continuously monitor property performance and recommend price adjustments based on demand, market trends, and other relevant factors.
- Utilise data to track and compare competitor pricing, ensuring that Houst’s properties remain competitive in the marketplace.
- Analyse large datasets related to property performance, including revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR.
- Interpret models and algorithms to predict trends and opportunities for pricing optimisation.
- Create detailed reports to communicate key insights to the pricing and revenue management teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall revenue management and growth.
- Identify patterns and insights that can be leveraged to maximise the return on properties for clients.
- Support decision-making processes by providing data-backed insights and recommendations.
- Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and market shifts.
- Leverage insights from data to stay ahead of market fluctuations and adjust strategies accordingly.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong ability to collect, organise, analyse, and interpret datasets with high accuracy.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and high-quality insights for decision-making.
- Willing to take a proactive role in driving property performance improvements and adapting pricing strategies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
- Confident with pricing algorithms, revenue management systems, and dynamic pricing tools.
- Experience with Looker and SQL
