About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of supply chain professionals across purchasing and logistics functions.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Represent the supply chain function in cross-functional leadership forums, executive reviews, and S&OP processes.
  • Define and track KPIs across supply chain operations including service level, inventory health, on-time delivery, lead time adherence, and logistics cost management.
  • Implement margin optimization and operational cost-saving strategies across the supply chain.
  • Oversee the logistics function, managing the end-to-end movement of goods between global packaging suppliers, contract cosmetics manufacturers, and the Hourglass Distribution Center across all transportation modes (air, sea, truck, rail).
  • Ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments through effective management of freight forwarding partnerships; review and optimize freight costs to identify the most economical mode of transport that meets required delivery dates.
  • Ensure accurate landed cost application and timely processing of freight and customs invoices; apply freight and customs costs to inventory so landed cost is absorbed correctly.
  • Oversee Transfer Order management in NetSuite ERP, ensuring all shipment dates, quantities, and statuses are maintained accurately; maintain clear Transfer Order Pegging Reports with estimated and actual departure and arrival dates.
  • Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships across contract manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely procurement, quality delivery, and business continuity.
  • Actively prepare and participate in S&OP with Demand Planning, Procurement, Finance, Sales, and Marketing to develop tactical supply chain plans that align with business goals and global forecast.
  • Oversee vendor scorecards and KPI tracking across service, quality, innovation, safety, and communication; support vendor accountability through regular performance reviews.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for supply issues including delays, capacity constraints, and supply disruptions; proactively develop and communicate contingency plans.
  • Partner with Product Development and Project Management teams on new product launch supply chain planning, providing clear updates on all open orders and logistics recommendations during cross-functional NPD meetings.
  • Lead the Master Data function. Maintain accurate, up-to-date, comprehensive Master Data in our system of record.
  • Regularly reconcile inventory balances and transactions in NetSuite and our key external partner’s ERPs and WMSs, understand the sources of the out-of-syncs, and make recommendations for how to get in sync and stay in sync.
  • Lead NetSuite-intensive projects that will allow us to get more leverage from our Master Data.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field;
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership or senior management role overseeing cross-functional supply chain teams.
  • Proven experience overseeing supply chain and logistics functions end-to-end.
  • Deep experience with MRP/ERP systems; Oracle Planning Cloud (OPC) and NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes including demand planning, supply planning, procurement, logistics, inventory management, and S&OP.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without authority, and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional analytical skills; advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Experience with international freight forwarding and logistics operations.
  • Cosmetics, beauty, or consumer packaged goods industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrated ability to present effectively to executive leadership and articulate complex supply chain concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Track record of building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time.
