About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support FVA portfolio valuation teams valuing illiquid debt and equity securities for fair value reporting
  • Perform financial statement analysis and quantitative and qualitative assessments
  • Review investment memoranda, board presentations, debt and equity agreements, and financial models
  • Compile statistical summaries, develop financial ratios, and present analyses using standard formats
  • Review published financial information, public company filings, press releases, research analyst reports, and Bloomberg data
  • Identify comparable public companies and M&A transactions using S&P Capital IQ, Bloomberg, SIC classifications, and other methods
  • Construct and review valuation analyses, including guideline public company, precedent transaction, and discounted cash flow analyses, using proprietary models
  • Research economic conditions, industry trends, acquisitions and divestitures, and investment attributes of securities
  • Participate in due diligence meetings and discussions, communicate with clients, and respond to auditor questions
  • Design and draft client deliverables
  • Assist with fee proposals, scoping discussions, pitch materials, and pricing committee memoranda
  • Perform ad-hoc research, analytics, and project team support
  • Coordinate invoices, working paper files, and compliance/end-of-engagement closeout procedures
  • Participate in discussions with in-house and outside legal counsel
  • Assist with marketing initiatives for prospective and existing clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
  • Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or similar majors
  • Graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Must be able to start July 2027
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Excellent understanding of financial statement analysis, including key assumptions, implicit caveats, and limitations
  • Fundamental understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
  • Strong knowledge of Excel modeling, including integrated cash flow modeling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with team members
  • Exceptional work ethic
