About the role
- Responsible for supporting Groups Sales department by sourcing hotels, managing RFPs, and ensuring timely follow-up to align with client needs, budget, and location preferences, aiming to win the clients' business.
- Consistently meet ambitious monthly sales targets to drive business growth and achieve team objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and hotel partners to facilitate seamless group bookings.
- Source and book group projects using Engine’s internal database and CRM (Salesforce).
- Assist with process improvements and contribute to the growth and scalability of the Groups Team.
- Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
Requirements
- Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and creative solution skills
- Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize work with strict timelines
- A fast learner who is comfortable with ambiguity, and an evolving department vision
- A tenacious go-getter with a natural will to win. A team player who will roll up their sleeves and lean in to support the team
- 2+ years Customer Service experience required. Hotel Industry and Group Reservations experience preferred
- Proficiency in Google Suite required; experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Slack is a plus!
