Responsible for supporting Groups Sales department by sourcing hotels, managing RFPs, and ensuring timely follow-up to align with client needs, budget, and location preferences, aiming to win the clients' business.
Consistently meet ambitious monthly sales targets to drive business growth and achieve team objectives
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and hotel partners to facilitate seamless group bookings.
Source and book group projects using Engine’s internal database and CRM (Salesforce).
Assist with process improvements and contribute to the growth and scalability of the Groups Team.
Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed to support the team’s success.
Requirements
Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Excellent sales, negotiation, and creative solution skills
Extremely organized and detail oriented with the ability to effectively prioritize work with strict timelines
A fast learner who is comfortable with ambiguity, and an evolving department vision
A tenacious go-getter with a natural will to win. A team player who will roll up their sleeves and lean in to support the team
2+ years Customer Service experience required. Hotel Industry and Group Reservations experience preferred
Proficiency in Google Suite required; experience with Salesforce, Asana, and Slack is a plus!
