About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a portfolio of airline and car rental partner accounts, serving as the primary operational point of contact
  • Monitor partner performance against KPIs (coverage, attach rates, booking volume, margin) and proactively identify and address underperformance
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Pricing, and Operations to resolve partner issues and unblock activation
  • Support the Sr. Director in commercial negotiations by preparing materials, tracking deal terms, and managing follow-through
  • Own the partner cadence: QBRs, performance reviews, check-ins, and escalation processes
  • Maintain accurate partner records, contract documentation, and pipeline tracking
  • Track industry trends across airline distribution, connectivity, and car rental commercial models to inform partner conversations
  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing partnerships and surface them with clear recommendations
  • Drive partner onboarding and activation for new agreements, ensuring smooth handoff from signed deal to live integration

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4–7 years of experience in airline partnerships, distribution, account management, or supply operations within travel or travel tech
  • Working knowledge of airline distribution models (GDS, NDC, ancillaries, fare structures) and/or car rental commercial constructs
  • Strong organizational and project management skills - can manage multiple partner workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills suited to external partner-facing interactions
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams
  • Commercial awareness - understands how partnerships translate to coverage, revenue, and customer experience
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on action items and commitments.
