About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate a constant pipeline of bold, unconventional stunt ideas designed to earn attention from business travel decision-makers and drive broader brand awareness.
  • Rapidly ideate across formats, including physical installations, OOH stunts, digital-first activations, creator and influencer partnerships, and hybrid concepts.
  • Own execution end-to-end: concept, scoping, production, launch, and post-activation measurement.
  • Build and manage a bench of contractors and production partners to scale activations without scaling headcount.
  • Identify and activate culturally timely moments where Engine can show up in unexpected, earned-first ways.
  • Partner with brand, creative, and the broader performance team so stunts feed brand search volume, SOV, and CAC efficiency across paid channels.
  • Work opportunistically with partnership and sponsorship deals as fuel for stunts, turning signed partnerships into cultural moments rather than just logo placements.
  • Define measurement for every activation before it launches: what signal counts as a win, what counts as a flop, and what it means for the paid funnel.
  • Manage activation budget and allocate across scrappy, repeatable stunts versus high-investment flagship moments.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 7–10 years in brand, experiential, stunt, or earned-first marketing with a portfolio of work that made people talk, not just impressions reports.
  • Hands-on operator who can move from concept to launch without handing off to a twelve-person agency team.
  • You've managed contractors, freelancers, or external production partners to scale the work.
  • Culturally sharp. You know what's landing on social, in newsletters, in group chats, and you can translate that instinct into brand moments that earn attention.
  • Creative velocity is your default setting. You generate more ideas than you execute, and you know how to pick the ones worth shipping.
  • You think in earned attention and downstream commercial impact, not vanity impressions.
  • Comfortable working in B2B categories that are traditionally 'boring' and making them interesting anyway.
  • AI-fluent and systems-adaptive. You use modern tools to move faster on ideation, production, and measurement.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity. You build structure where none exists and run without a full playbook.
  • Direct communicator who can pitch a wild idea to an executive and still ship it next week.
