About the role
- Lead design and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and automation systems to enable secure, efficient operations.
- Architect and optimize scalable cloud ecosystems that integrate with core business platforms while maintaining performance, security, and compliance.
- Drive strategic IT automation and process optimization using Okta Workflows, APIs, and scripting to reduce manual work and improve reliability.
- Lead strategic security initiatives in partnership with GRC, engineering, and leadership to protect company assets and ensure compliance.
- Mentor and develop IT engineers and support staff, providing technical leadership and fostering continuous learning.
- Manage complex integrations, evaluate and implement tools, and oversee vendor relationships to ensure service delivery.
- Establish technical standards, documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures to support scalability and knowledge continuity.
- Own and execute company-wide IT initiatives from conception through deployment, aligning outcomes with business objectives.
Requirements
- 7-10+ years in IT, including leading complex, company-wide projects and managing teams in a remote, distributed environment.
- Proven experience leading company-wide IT initiatives and mentoring technical staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills, system integration, cloud services, and security protocol knowledge.
- Proficiency with Okta, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Google Workspace, and the Atlassian suite.
- Experience with Okta Workflows, APIs, and scripting to build automation frameworks.
- Ability to partner with GRC, engineering, and leadership to develop IT security strategies.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
