About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join Hostaway in the Communications team responsible for the Unified Inbox module.
- Streamline Guest Host communications using AI features, automations, and templates.
- Design, build, support, and evolve the backend systems that power user-facing features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and extensible solutions for real customer needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of experience in SaaS software development (production live product)
- Strong-level proficiency in PHP and/or Golang, with a strong willingness to dive into both.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful web APIs
- Familiarity with transitioning event-driven service-oriented architectures by applying Domain Driven Design (DDD) principles
- Experience in writing Unit Tests and Integration Tests
- Experience working in a Cloud environment (AWS is a plus)
- Experience with message queues (e.g., AWS SQS) is a plus
- English language level C1
