About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Continuously monitor federal, state and municipal tax legislation, as well as regulatory acts, official consultation decisions and relevant case law.
Interpret legislative and regulatory changes, including the Tax Reform, assessing operational, systems, financial and tax impacts for the organization.
Map the impacts of legal changes on existing processes, proposing redesigns of workflows, controls and tax policies.
Coordinate and support the implementation of new processes, systems, tax parameterizations and reports, ensuring compliance with applicable law.
Serve as the focal point and interface between Tax, Accounting, Legal, IT, Controlling and business areas, as well as external consultants.
Participate in tax project management, monitoring schedules, deliverables, risks and dependencies.
Support the preparation of technical opinions, explanatory notes and internal guidance materials.
Ensure alignment between legal interpretation and operational execution, preventing inconsistencies and tax risks.
Support audits, inspections and inquiries related to regulatory matters and projects.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Law, Business Administration, Economics or related fields;
Postgraduate degree or specialization in Tax Law or Tax Planning;
Proficiency in Excel;
Registration with the relevant regional professional council.
